I had never heard of this artist but I love this painting and his use of bold colors, elongation, and depth with movement. This is Sharon from AED 501.

The linked web site at whitney.org has some good information. I like the colors in this picture. I’m not currently familiar with his works but I might have to find out some more about him.

I like the way that the exteriors of his brownstones almost look like the interiors of the people's homes. I love his sharp, geometric lines that he uses and the striking, vivid colors, as well.
